Hell Hath No Fury

Maaaaaaan. What the heck is with my clients this week. So demanding and moody. I kid you not. Times get tougher during a full moon and I swear we just had one on Saturday ;)

In any case... you ever drive by someone belting out in song like no tomorrow while driving? You kind of point and laugh at how ridiculous they look? That was me this morning. Belting out passionately to Mariah Carey tunes. More specifically to the song "Can't Live". I think I even had some fist pumps thrown in there like Celine Dion. I love Mariah. *sigh*

Volleyball

So I've got volleyball tonight and was looking online for schedule information....I found some of the following pictures that I've never seen before. The above pic includes majority of our CIBC volleyball team members...minus my fave lady Barb... I've decided that we should rename our team to Team Japan. Or Team Swedish Berries. These pictures were taken during a tournament in April/2010.

Somehow I don't think this is the correct "ready" positioning we should be doing....

Look at how focused I look....from a distance. bwahahahah. I know Sab's got it under control.....

Ok now here's a token Colleen picture. It appears that I'm fixing my hair... which I've been known to do while playing sports... moo ahahahahah

Bored At Work....

I'm a little bit bored at work. I decided to rummage through my desk and I found these two gifts from two different people. One is a pair of "nun"-chucks. The other is Nun bowling. That marble is a fire ball of hell. hahaha. Why people like to buy me this stuff is beyond me, but it makes for a good laugh.

Oh Me Oh My

This is one of my mom's newest additions to her family. Isn't he cute? I don't normally find frogs nice looking but I gotta admit this one is pretty cute. I didn't even realize it but Frogs are my Mom and Yvon's thing. It's their animal.

Last night was the first night in a very long time where I felt truly proud of myself. I scored two goals along with an assist during hockey last night. My first ever and most likely my last. ha ha. The best part? It wasn't even flukey. It was on purpose. What was even better was the scream that escaped from my mouth after. haha

It Is What It Is

This weekend was extremely eventful. My mom and I decided to visit my Grandma before the snow settles and we brought her a mini pumpkin to celebrate Halloween. :)

I had dim sum with my family and took a random picture with my brother.....he didn't know I was trying to do a nice picture...

I went over to my gf's new place this weekend (congrats btw) and we decided to go through the year book.This is a picture of me from highschool.... yes it's really me and no I didn't get plastic surgery. hahaha

All in all I had a pretty fantastic weekend. Caught up on some good sleep and spent time with some good friends. I had many conversations and I got tons of thinking in...life is truly funny. Things happen for certain reasons, and altho we may not always see it, there's a purpose for it all. I don't even know where to start in terms of my findings. The only thing I know and can really do is - " go with the flow ". I know I sound repetitive with these blogs...but things keep occuring to make me think of this.

On another note - my last few days have been consumed with this song by Mariah Carey. I heard this song at my friends stagette, and decided to purchase the CD over the weekend. The song is called "My All" - Perfect combination of strings, and even better it's in minor key.

Grrrrrr

Check out this professional picture I took of Peanut. In reality I was trying to take a good close up picture of him but he kept yawning. Admittedly there are days that I feel like the expression he is showing.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. Because I worked Saturday last week I get tomorrow off!! :))))) Looking forward to some family time, good times with some friends, and catching up on some zzz's.

Course Day.

I drew an entire page of doodles during my "course day" today. My mind is going at a 1000 miles per minute.... drawing helps ease it.. or at least helps me forget for a little bit.

Turkey'd Out.....

Hi!!!! I hope everyone had a restful and excellent long weekend. Unfortunately I had to work on Saturday. I don't feel that I got a lot of rest last weekend, but I look forward to this weekend when I have Friday off. :)

I spent a lot of time with family this weekend.

On Saturday I was at my Aunt and Uncle's place for dinner. I saw my Grandpa there. This is a picture of me and him. He has no idea that I took this picture... he was too busy admiring my Hello Kitty Faceplate....

On Sunday I went golfing with my uncles. That pink ball you see is my first ball on the green. You can see the flag behind my uncle.... I walked an entire 18 holes and actually wasn't even sore after. Just tired. ( Pls note - I haven't golfed since September of last year 0_o )

After golfing I made turkey dinner at home... it was a nice small intimate dinner. My mom brought over some greens and freshly made OJ. :)))

What's a little family dinner without siblings being retards. Yes this is really my brother. And no those aren't really my glasses. lol

All in all had a pretty good Turkey Day.

Thanksgiving Day

Hello all!! I took this picture on the balcony at Jagare Ridge. Pretty isn't it??

Seeing as how this is Thanksgiving Weekend, I figure I'd list some things that I am thankful for:

1. Autumn Days

2. Clean air to breathe

3. A roof over my head

4. Family - Esp my Mommy

6. Wonderful friends - Both new and old

7. Food to eat

8. My Career

9. Certain people who have come in and out of my life - all for reasons known to me

10. Panoot

11. Grandma

12. Just to be alive, healthy and happy

I've realized that it's the two year anniversary that my Grandma has passed away and she still influences me even today. I miss her so much.

All in all I really cannot complain about my life. I'm thankful for everything - including both the good and the bad.

Time for Change

This is a file folder that my associate uses for me. It holds all pending files that I need her to complete. As you can see, it's really beat up. Three quarters of the seam is ripped!! I demanded a new one so I did the following....

BBQ Virgin....

So I attempted my first time BBQ-ing. From start to finish. I was so proud of myself for even turning it on... haha.

This is the end product.... but I gotta say. Looks better than it tastes. At least now I know how to make Pork Jerky  :\

Of course what's a bbq without some good company. Meet Miko. He invited himself to the table. Note the glass of red stuff. Yes it's wine. And yes I don't have wine glasses. My poor guest had to drink it from a regular cup. lol.

Good times and good company. :)



Autumn Is My Fave....

I love Autumn.... look at the colors. A small part of me wants to jump into the leaves. And then I remember the possibility of bugs and mud that is probably hiding within.

Here's a picture of my mom in Kananaskis. When she emailed me the picture, she put " I'm so STRONG " in the subject line. I must get my large pipes from her. My fave part is Poutine in her hand.
